Burgers Suspected at Resort - Hotel Riu, Ocho Rios St. Ann Parish

9 months ago reported by user-qpzf2691 business

Hotel Riu Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Ocho Rios, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica

My son and I started with fever and diarrhea on day 3 of 7 and continued off and on throughout the week. I had a fever so bad I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. Very disappointed that the resort would allow a risk like this to happen. Can't say exactly where it came from but we were the only ones who ate the burgers at Pepe's (my daughter ate half of one and was fine) out of 7 of us, 2 of us got sick. The other family members didn't eat the burgers. Not saying it was the burgers that made us sick but it's a possibility. It was my first time out of the country and I was so excited to give this opportunity to my kids. I'm never coming back | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever
