Happy Meal Causes Illness - McDonald's, Shasta Lake California

11 months ago reported by user-jndwt944 business

McDonald's, Cascade Boulevard, Shasta Lake, CA, USA

1695 Cascade Boulevard, Shasta Lake, 96079 California, United States

Got my five year old son a six piece happy meal. The nuggets didn't seem warm at all. He only ate a few and the dog was fed the rest. Within a few hours he started having horrible smelling gas coming from both ends. The next morning his teacher sent him home due to the smell coming from his body. He had five bowel movements in a matter of just a few hours. His belly was super bloated. Next day he had horrible diarrhea and it still smelled like rotten eggs. The dog also became ill with the same symptoms. Had to take my son to the doctor to be tested for e coli and other gut infections. Made a complaint today with the establishment. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Gas

Is it really necessary to show everyone someone's vomit? Disgusting to show, no one needs to see this.

What happened to the blurring/censor with this post? Feel like it’s warranted given the subject matter

Picture is not necessary. Who does this? Gross. Plus, this sounds like norovirus which is going around right now.

Please don't allow photos of vomit or diarrhea.

Thank you for showing the Vomit that results from eating this contaminated food. It gets people’s attention, is memorable, and effectively gets the point across.
