Sprite Tastes Off; Throat Burns - Sprite, Victor West Virginia

My husband and I were drinking a little bottle of “sprite” and we kept asking each other if their “sprite” tasted ok which we sampled each others. Then I remembered I bought “sprite” at two different stores. The 4 pak was the awful seltzer tasting and the 8 pak tasted good. We both had severe burning in our throat down to the stomach with coughing and chills. Is there a bad batch of the “4 pak sprite” being sold? HELP | Symptoms: Chills, Cough, Other, Sore Throat
