Severe Food Poisoning Shock - Tahinis Kitchen Whitehorn, Calgary Alberta

3 weeks ago reported by user-vhkv7412 business

Tahinis Kitchen Whitehorn, 32 Avenue Northeast, Calgary, AB, Canada

3550 32 Avenue Northeast, Calgary, T1Y 6J2 Alberta, Canada

Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, other: Black out, blood
Suspected source: Chicken
Onset: 4 to 12 hours
Duration: Several days
Sick: Me
Additional information: Ate around 6pm Friday, unwell 8 am Saturday but violently ill around 5/6 pm Saturday. Still not well today 5pm(Sunday) but not as bad as Saturday and earlier today. Inside Fresh Co back of the grocery store. Violently ill! I didn’t eat much before or after. Excuse the nasty detail, but also parts of the wrap showed up in my bloody vomit. I could barely move and when I did I would be faint and have a hard time breathing. I had to try to make it to the washroom and would be in and out of consciousness. I live alone and felt like I could die. My legs and arms were blue when I was able to see. I definitely went into shock multiple times. I also pulled the hot/cold handled straight off at some point but don’t remember at all (I must have blacked out) I was probably trying to clean myself up so I could call the ambulance. I’ve endured a lot being a competitive athlete most my life. I’ve never experienced anything that was this embarrassing and life threatening. After this experience I would be terrified to eat out with children. They could have easily killed a child. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache
