I was coming home from Africa last Sunday morning but had been fine and shared all meals there with my friend who did not get sick. I bought food at Dulles for my connecting flight back to LA. Landed at 11 am. Was violently ill that night and spent the next day in the ER. Was sick for 4 days with IV fluids, and put on Cipro. Finally better but it was HORRIBLE.
