Clover Sprouts at Jimmy John's - linked to E. coli outbreak

UPDATE - March 20, 2020
CDC announced that since the last update, a total of 25 additional people have reported infected with the outbreak strain of E. coli O103 from two states. The total of reported people for this outbreak rose to 39 from six states (one new case from Florida).

CDC announced they are currently investigating an E. coli O103 outbreak linked to clover sprouts served at Jimmy John's restaurants. To date, 14 people have been reported sick with E. coli O103 from five states (IL, IA, MO, TX, UT). None of these persons have required hospitalization and no deaths have been reported.

CDC advises consumers that may have a leftover meal with clover sprouts from a Jimmy John’s restaurant, to throw it away and don't eat it. According to the outbreak notice, Jimmy John’s stopped serving clover sprouts on Feb 24th, 2020 on all of their locations.
