The Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation (MAPAQ), in collaboration with À Fleur D'Ail, has issued a warning to the public not to consume the company's garlic flower pesto due to a lack of shelf life indication, which could potentially lead to bacterial proliferation (Clostridium botulinum). The product were sold exclusively at the company's establishment located at 278, route 132 Ouest, in Carleton-sur-Mer.The product in question is:
- The "Garlic Flower Pesto"
- Sold in 250 ml glass jars with a metal lid
- Under the lot number 2024-07-16.
- The product was available for sale until August 22, 2024.
- Sold refrigerated
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
