French dairy company, Fromagerie Badoz, has voluntarily recalled its Mont d'Or AOP Badoz Chaud familial cheese due to potential salmonella contamination. The product was distributed across France in various supermarkets like Carrefour, Auchan, Scapalsace, Cora, CSD, Leclerc, Intermarché, Promocash, Relais Dis, Super U, France Frais, Dupont kaasimport, Schiever, Valserine and Salad2fruit. The recall procedure is expected to end on December 21, 2024.

The recalled product is:
- The Mont d'Or AOP Badoz Chaud familial cheese
- Under the brand Badoz.
- The product size or weight was not specified.
- The affected batch is 4279AF
- With a best-before date of December 14, 2024.
- The product was sold from October 28, 2024, to October 29, 2024.
- Health Mark: FR-25-462-002-CE
- Product to be kept in the refrigerator
