Recall notice

France

The French company Cora has voluntarily recalled its Degustation brand steak due to the presumptive detection of E.coli STEC O157:H7. The recall affects products distributed across France.

The recalled products are:
- Cora Degustation's
"2 Steaks Hachés 125g 12% Charolais Cora VBF"
"4 Steaks Hachés 125g 12% Charolais Cora VBF."
- The products have the GTIN numbers and lot numbers:
GTIN: 3257981177840 // Batch: 5418832370001/10
GTIN: 3257981177857 // Batch: 5418832369901/10
- Both products have a best-before date of 15/07/2024.
- The product should be kept in the refrigerator.

The company has advised consumers not to consume the product and return it where they purchased it.

In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms such as watery diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting; stomach cramps; and mild fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
