French food company, La Belle Nature, has issued a recall for its product, 2X TARTARES COUTEAU 3% MONTBELIARD, due to the presence of salmonella. The product was distributed in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques and Var departments.

The recalled product is branded as La Belle Nature, named 2X TARTARES COUTEAU 3% MONTBELIARD. The product comes in a 2X180G package with the batch number 24036-9243. The UPC is 3700502707243 and it has a best before date of 17/02/2024. The product was sold between 05/02/2024 and 17/02/2024.

The issue was discovered during routine testing, which revealed the presence of Salmonella spp, the bacteria responsible for salmonellosis. The recall was officially published on 14/02/2024.
