Leslie’s Clover Chips Barbecue Corn Snacks recalled due to undeclared allergen

4 months ago source mpi.govt.nz

Recall notice

New Zealand

Several importers have issued a recall for their Leslie’s brand Clover Chips Barbecue Corn Snacks due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, gluten. The product is sold at selected retail stores throughout New Zealand.

The products recalled are all batches and dates of Leslie’s brand Clover Chips Barbecue Corn Snacks. The product, which comes in 85g and 145g sizes, is sold in a foil pouch and is imported from the Philippines. The recall does not affect any other Leslie’s brand products.

Consumers with a gluten allergy or intolerance are advised not to consume this product. Those who have consumed it and have health concerns should seek medical advice. Customers with a gluten allergy or intolerance can return the product to their retailer for a full refund. Retailers of the product have been advised to display a point of sale notice in their stores for one month.

In case you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
