THIS! is taking the precautionary step of recalling a Chicken and Bacon wrap because of possible contamination with E. coli. E. coli has not been detected in the product listed below but it is being recalled as a precaution. This product is only sold at WH Smith Nationwide.

The product recalled is THIS! Isn’t Chicken and Bacon Wrap. Use by all dates up to and including 18 June 2024. If you have bought any of the above products do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.

The possible presence of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) in the product. Symptoms caused by STEC organisms include hemolytic uremic syndrome, (HUS), a serious condition that can lead to kidney failure and can be fatal.

In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms such as watery diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting; stomach cramps; and mild fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
