Probably not Burger King as food poisoning doesn't happen instantaneously like that (unless maybe if caused by a chemical, but if that were the case the whole restaurant would likely be sick). Norovirus is going around, or it could have been something you ate a day or two ago.

You realize norovirus can be a foodborne illness, right? This is a place for reporting. Not for speculating

Hi thanks for your comment. As you said, If the contamination is chemical or physical, symptoms can start within minutes. If it is biological contamination, it can start as fast as 30 minutes (e.g. Staph). Other types of contamination can take longer, it all depends on what it was, but it can be fast. The most commonly reported symptoms are nausea and diarrhea and the most common diagnosis is Salmonella.

Yes but the illness isn't instantaneous. There is an incubation for norovirus.
