The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are currently investigating a new multistate outbreak of E. coli O157 infections (reference number 1282). The outbreak, which has resulted in 7 reported illnesses, hasn't been linked to any source of illness yet.
