I thought it was just me until I read a news article today on this! Lucky Charms used to be the only sugared cereal I would eat, I ate it a couple times a month. Before 2020 I had suspicions there was something in it triggering my diarrhea and abdominal cramping events, but during the pandemic after eating exclusively home cooked meals for a year I was able to isolate that it's definitely the Lucky Charms. My husband confirms the same. We both get sudden green diarrhea and cramping after eating it. He eats it on purpose instead of taking laxatives when constipated!! 😲 My 10 year old daughter recently reported cramping and diarrhea, and then fearful of the color. She has the same problems. I don't think this cereal is OK for human consumption anymore if this issue is so common. The manufacturer really needs to change something. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Cramps, Green Stool
Green poop can be from food coloring. Did you guys have any cool-aid or anything like that with food coloring recently? Sometimes that can cause upset stomaches/gastrointestinal issues as well. I'm not trying to downplay what y'all are dealing with and I hope you get feeling better soon! But I was wondering because my kids eat lucky charms a lot for breakfast, so I'm trying to guage out the situation by reading these comments and asking questions.
I do think it is suspicious with how many people are reporting stomach issues after eating it, so I am not going to have my kids eat any more of it until I find out if it is causing these issues or if it's something else..
