Lobster Bisque Causes Illness - Sam's Club, Columbia South Carolina

2 years ago reported by user-qhkb1742 business

We bought a 2pak lobster bisque from this store on 11/14/2022. My wife and I ate the first container on the 14th, and immediately after eating, I had diarrhea. I had to empty my system for about 20 mins, it was terrible. I checked on my wife and she said she was ok, but the next morning, she had diarrhea also but wasn’t as bad as mine. We thought it was an isolated incident and did not think much of it. However the incident repeated itself again when we shared the second container, and this time, my wife and I did not eat anything else yet. We had diarrhea, vomit, bulging headaches, stomach that didn’t go away for 2 days. We suspect the lobster bisque food poisoned us. Our 4 kids were fine eating all of the other foods we had at the house and we didn’t eat out in that whole week. We were able to narrow it down to the lobster bisque. We are reporting now just in case some other consumers had similar issues and this could be an outbreak and the lobster bisque needs to be recalled. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Headache
