The Foot of The Walk in Leith, Edinburgh, UK linked to a suspected Norovirus outbreak

183 Constitution Street, EH6 7AA Scotland, United Kingdom

On Tuesday, the Foot of the Walk pub in Leith, Edinburgh, closed its doors due to a suspected norovirus outbreak. Reports claim that some customers and staff have reported feeling unwell and the pub's parent company, JD Wetherspoon, has taken action in response. The company has called in a specialist cleaning agency to deep clean the pub and it is expected to reopen on February 15.

No confirmation has been made yet on the number of people who are or have been affected by the suspected norovirus outbreak. However, JD Wetherspoon has released a statement confirming "some customers and staff" have reported feeling unwell.

The Foot of the Walk pub is just one of many pubs and restaurants in the JD Wetherspoon chain. The pub chain is known for its large selection of food and drinks, and is a popular destination for patrons.

If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
