My daughter had a layover at Denver airport on Wednesday 13 November 2019.She ordered food while waiting on her connecting flight. As a regular customer, she noticed one of the dishes she ordered tasted weird to her after only a few bites, so she threw it away.
1.5 hours later while on her flight, she became ill with Stomach cramps followed by vomiting. Not long afterwards, she also started having Diarrhea. She became so violently ill, the flight attendants on her Frontier flight moved her to the back of the plane so they could tend to her (Thank you Frontier for your help).
When I met my daughter at Reagan National, she couldn’t walk. I got her Pepto, but that didn’t help. I eventually took her the the Emergency Room early Thursday morning because of the increasing abdominal pain and constant vomiting. We spent 12 hours in the ER before being released. On Friday morning she started vomiting again and the pain returned. I had to take her back to the ER again and we were there till Friday night until released. Saturday she felt nauseous all day with minor bouts of vomiting. Early Sunday morning while going to the airport to fly home she became ill again with extream abdominal pain and vomiting. I had to take her to the ER again because there was no way she could fly. We checked into the ER for the 3rd time where they admitted her for treatment. At this point it is Wednesday night and we’re still at the hospital.
After over a dozen IV’s, 4 CT-Scans, 2 Ultra Sounds, pelvic exams, dozens of blood draws at two different hospitals, all they can say is she has a virus most likely from food poisoning.
Has anyone else gotten sick in this timeframe??? Please write your report. | Sintomas: Diarreia, Náusea, Vomitando, Cãibras
