My wife and I ate lunch at this location Sunday Dec 18th at 1pm. We both ate the exact same thing; salad (2 bowls), bread sticks and chicken marsala. We both began to have severe abdominal cramps and diarrhea shortly thereafter. My wife's symptoms started around 5... pm mine started around 7 pm and lasted for approximately 3 hours. We thought it may be the salad since you are always hearing about problems with lettuce being contaminated. My wife did not eat all her chicken marsala so we brought that home with one breadstick. I heated the chicken marsala up for lunch on Wednesday the 21st. Several hours later I experienced the exact same symptoms as on Sunday, nausea, diarrhea and severe abdominal cramps. I now think it was the chicken marsala, not the salad. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Cramps

My partner, My mother and myself had frozen margaritas at the pool. I was assessed by the EMS along with my partner who is also sick along with my mother. We are in a group of 5 and the two who didn’t drink those drinks (from blender),... are not sick. I would strongly discourage anyone to eat or drink here. Our family heritage is in clubs & pubs so having grown up in that environment, I’m accustomed to the industry and albeit it is a massive hotel chain, they are noticeably sloppy with their cleanliness. The Paramedic’s weren’t able to confirm 100% but they suspected the bacteria likely came from the blender based on the fact that the ice is widely used in all guests drinks who had ordered from that bar. The hotel have been absolutely appalling to deal with and have offered no satisfactory resolution whatsoever.m, they’ve called just to ‘check in’ once and said the drinks we had were ‘on the house’. I’ll be perusing the matter further because we have travelled here from Australia and I do appreciate its not something to boast about but we are paying north of $2000 per night for the two rooms and haven’t been able to leave the room, and toilet for the better part of 24 hours, we couldn’t go to the NYE dinner we booked and paid for on the basis that we were poisoned by the Hilton. I understand that mistakes happen but their name is on the door therefore the Buck stops with them and unfortunately after a 14 hour flight - drinks on the house doesn’t even begin to compensate us. It began last night and has progressively gotten worse over the course of today. Ecoli in drink or salmonella. It began last night and has progressively gotten worse over the course of today., | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting

Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk. Although infected pregnant women may experience only mild, flu-like symptoms, the infection can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn or even stillbirth. In severe cases of illness, people may die.
In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
