Corn Tastes Like Acetone

We bought Sweet Corn, two cobs in plastic.
After cooking, the taste was disgusting, it looked like acetone or nail polish, in short, nothing natural but an extremely strong chemical taste.
To date, diarrhea and vomiting after ingestion.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
