For the last 2 days, Lucky charms cereals but not sure I ate 2 bowls of this new box 3 days ago in the morning, and the symptoms developed during the following night. It started with extreme abdominal pain and shivers, then nausea and vomiting. The abdominal... pain lasted for 48h and is still going on and severe diarrhea for 46h. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal and the company Gourmet Végé, located at 556 , avenue Meloche, in Dorval , warns the public not to consume certain Gourmet Végétarien hummus, because these products... are likely to contain the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes. These products were sold in several establishments in the province of Quebec. No illnesses have been reported to the MAPAQ to date.
The affected products are:
- Gourmet Végétarien Hummus Classique, 240 g, Lot 120701, Expiration date: 16AU22
- Gourmet Végétarien Hummus Piment Rôti, 240 g, Lot 120703, Expiration date: 16AU22
- Gourmet Végétarien Baba Ghanouj, 240 g, Lot 120705, Expiration date: 16AU22
These products were packaged in clear plastic containers and sold chilled. The label of the products includes, in addition to their denominations, the mention “Végétarien Gourmet”.
If you have the affected products in your home, please do not eat them, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

Recent Interesting Reports
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) announced on their Communicable Disease Threats Report Week 45 a multi-country E. coli Shigella Sonnei outbreak linked to travel to Cape Verde. There are 55 confirmed cases in several countries: Netherlands (22), Denmark (4), France (3), Germany (2),... Portugal (1) and the United Kingdom (23) with travel history to Cape Verde. The source is still unknown, the investigations are ongoing.
United Kingdom reports 48 confirmed S. sonnei cases with specimen collection dates between 22 November 2021 and 21 October 2022, with 42/48 (88%) of these cases with sample collection dates since 7 September 2022. In total, 23 cases report travel to Cape Verde and a further nine report travel to the African continent (country unspecified). Overall, 10/11 cases traveling to Cape Verde reported staying at the same hotel chain.
The Netherlands is reporting a cluster of 9 confirmed S. sonnei cases with a travel history to Cape Verde since August 2022. Altogether 22 S. sonnei cases have been reported, mostly after 19 September 2022. 12/13 cases stayed in different hotels from the same hotel chain on the same island of Cape Verde.
Denmark reported 2 cases that match the Dutch reference strain sequenced in a large EIEC/Shigella outbreak in December 2021-February 2022. Cases reported travel to Cape Verde. An additional 2 cases reported travel exposure to Cape Verde (Jan 2022, April 2022) but they were not sequenced.
France reported 9 cases that match the Dutch reference strain during the period February-September 2022; only 3 reported travel to Cape Verde (strain isolated in February) and another 1 mentioned a trip to Africa (strain isolated in September 2022).
Germany reported 2 cases that cluster with the Dutch reference strain and with travel history to Cape Verde. Disease onset September-October 2022. More detailed information on travel (island, hotel) was not available.
Portugal reported 1 case in October with clustering isolate to the Dutch reference strain and linked to recent travel to Cape Verde.

The FSIS announced the recall of 5,001 pounds of frozen beef dumpling products by Menu19 LLC because they were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. These products were shipped to restaurants and retail locations in California. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due... to consumption of these products.
The recalled product is:
- 1.5-lb. cartons containing 12 pieces of “Mantu menu19” and UPC code: 86000524010.
The product subject to recall was produced in November 2020 through October 23, 2022 and does not bear the USDA mark of inspection because Menu19 LLC is not a federally inspected establishment.
FSIS is concerned that some product may in consumers' freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

WARNING! I suggest you don't bring to your kids to there!!! lot of bacteria on foods since they are not responsible: Replace, put date label and not clean enough! Often Salomon smell horrible! I am warning you they are dare go ahead ground beefs and chicken breast... had already bacteria to cook it to serve customers, trust me! They used food with over expired with bacon, steak beefs, and more. Watch out the wheat of breads because when left open bags of bread overnight and bread hard and they use to cook it to serve them too! Don't order any kind of foods for frying-Fried fries, chickens tenders, and others because they are replacing oil not very well. When darkness oil and still to fry anyway. I did cook chicken grilled sandwiches then few minutes later then went to restroom and vomiting! it was expired date been passed days!
