I went in to Hardee's on Commonwealth next to the free way I ordered a 3 piece chicken strip combo for 7 dollars. See More that it was probably just the grease needing to be changed I decided to eat because I was really hungry the food tasted good but about 5 to 10 minutes after finishing my food I started to get a pressure pain on my stomach. After that I went to walk it off thinking everything would be fine in a few minutes but I was wrong. About half way to lane I felt my stomach drop and I started getting dizzy and vomiting, I pushed threw just telling myself I just needed to use the restroom and boy was I currect. The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 147,132 pounds of frozen spaghetti loops with meat sauce entrée products by Fairmont Foods, Inc. due to misbranding and undeclared allergen (egg). These products were shipped to distributors in Georgia, Indiana, and Texas for further distribution to the retail level.... See More One customer who has an egg allergy reported an adverse reaction after eating the product.
The recalled product is:
- 7.25-oz. tray in-box packages containing “kidfresh Spaghetti Loops Meat Sauce” with lot codes FF120722, FF011823, FF021623, FF032323, FF042623, FF071923, or FF081023 and a “best if used by” date ranging from April 2024 to December 2024 on the side of the box.
These products were produced on various dates from December 2022, through August 2023, and bear the establishment number “EST. 2WM” on the side of the box, below the “best if used by” date.
The problem was discovered by the producing establishment while conducting a routine ingredient label review. They notified FSIS that egg, a known allergen, was not declared on the finished product label. The problem occurred after a change in noodle formulation by the supplier.
FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ freezers. If you have an allergy to eggs do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
In case you experienced harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
