Possible Cookie Dough Issue

My husband, son and I had some fro yo but my son and I had extreme diarrhea. I had birthday cake w cookie dough and he had strawberry and vanilla with cookie dough. My assumption would be the cookie dough as common denominator.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea
