The Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with "Abattoir les viandes du Pontiac", has issued a warning not to consume a specific product due to it being unfit for human consumption. The recall was initiated by the company itself as a precautionary measure. No cases of illness related to the consumption of this product have been reported to MAPAQ so far.The product in question is Ruminant Stomach, packaged in a clear plastic bag. The product was sold at the company's location in Shawville until March 15, 2024. The total amount of recalled product is not stated.
Do not consume, serve, sell or distribute recalled products. You must return it to the establishment where you purchased it.
