Traditional World Foods has voluntarily recalled its Alfez brand Natural Tahini 160g due to the presence of salmonella. The product was distributed across France in various stores including Auchan, Carrefour, and Leclerc.

The recalled product is:
- Alfez Natural Tahini
- Sold in 160g jars.
- The affected batches have the GTIN 5010338300890
- Include lot numbers 3355 and 4040
- With best-before dates of 30/06/2025 and 31/08/2025 respectively.
- The product was sold from 23/01/2024 to 31/08/2025.
- Product to be stored at room temperature

If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.

In case you are experiencing Salmonella symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
