Aliments naturels L'Eau Vive inc. is recalling raw shelled pistachios due to potential Salmonella contamination. These pistachios were sold in bulk at room temperature between June 26 and September 1, 2025, at their Mont-Saint-Hilaire location in Canada.The recalled product is:
- Labeled "PISTACHE SANS ÉCALE"
- Was sold in bulk at room temperature.
- The affected units were available for purchase between June 26 and September 1, 2025.
The recall is precautionary following a national Salmonella outbreak linked to contaminated pistachios imported from Iran.
The recall was initiated as a Class I recall, indicating a high health risk. The issue was discovered following food recalls by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The recall notice was announced on January 14, 2026.
