Arepa AU Recalls Beverages Due to Potential Glass Contamination

Arepa AU Pty Limited is recalling two of its products, Arepa for Calm & Clarity and Arepa for Performance, due to a packaging fault that could result in the presence of glass. The products have been available for sale in Coles in NSW, QLD and VIC. They have also been available for sale in Woolworths in VIC and independent retailers including IGA in NSW and QLD. The products have been sold online in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and WA.The packaging fault was discovered during routine quality control checks. The company warns that food products containing glass may cause illness or injury if consumed.
The recalled items are:
- Ārepa for Calm & Clarity 300ml, Best Before: 24 Jan 2026
- Ārepa for Performance 300ml, Best Before: 22 Jan 2026
Consumers should not eat this product. Consumers should return the product(s) to the place of purchase for a full refund.
