The CFIA announced the recall of Castel Regio brand Taleggio DOP by Les Dependances due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.The following product is subject to recall:
- Castel Regio Taleggio DOP, variable sizes, UPC: 3 254550 032272, Codes: Lot: 11091 Best Before: 2021 MA 31.
CFIA warns this product may have been packaged at retail and sold in variable sizes. Consumers who are unsure if they have purchased the affected product are advised to contact their retailer.
CFIA advises consumers not to eat the recalled product and to throw out or returned it to the store where they were purchased.
