December 17th, 2025:
Celebration Herbals US has initiated a voluntary recall of its Senna Leaf Herbal Tea due to potential Salmonella contamination. The product was distributed across several states, including Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New York, Puerto Rico, and Wisconsin.
The recalled product is:
- Celebration Herbals Senna Leaf Herbal Tea
- Packaged in boxes containing 24 teabags
- With a net weight of 1.48 ounces.
- It can be identified by UPC code 628240201829
- Lot code 251004
- A best-before date of October 29, 2028.
- A total of 1,226 retail units are affected by this recall.
The issue was discovered through internal testing, prompting the company to initiate the recall on November 25, 2025. The recall is currently ongoing and has not yet been classified by the relevant authorities.
