Snack Mania Brazilian Delights Corp., a New Jersey-based restaurant, is recalling approximately 9,722 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken coxinhas products due to production without federal inspection, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall on May 20th. The recalled product was distributed to retail locations in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.The issue was uncovered during routine FSIS surveillance activities, which revealed that the chicken coxinhas products lacked the USDA mark of inspection and were produced in an uninspected facility.
