Chicken with peanuts recalled due to Undeclared Anchovy

Maison Thaïlandaise, a Quebec-based company, has issued a recall for Fried tofu with peanuts and POULET ARACHIDES due to the undeclared presence of anchovies. The recall, announced in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, affects consumers with an allergy to anchovies. The issue was discovered during routine checks by the company. Maison Thaïlandaise is recalling the products and has agreed with MAPAQ to issue this warning as a precautionary measure. As of now, no cases of allergic reactions related to the consumption of these products have been reported.The products in question are:
- "Fried Tofu SC Peanuts" (Unitary size)
- "Peanut Chicken" (Unitary size)
The recall applies to all batches of these products whose labels do not mention the presence of anchovies.
These items were sold refrigerated and vacuum-packed in a transparent plastic bag, exclusively at Maison Thaïlandaise's establishment.
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
