Italian cheese manufacturer Gennaro Auricchio S.p.A has issued a recall for its Gorgonzola Piccante DOP brand cheese due to a potential microbiological risk from suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product has been distributed under the Colombo brand. The product was manufactured by Gennaro Auricchio S.p.A at its facility located at via Alessandria 1, 27051 Cava Manara (PV).

The recalled product details are as follows:
- Brand - Gorgonzola Piccante DOP
- Size/Weight - Whole form, 1/8, 1/16, 200g
- Batch - IT 03 194 CE
- UPC - 259404601
- Best Before Date - 22/07/2024.

Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to return it to the point of purchase.
