Recall notice

Cow & Gate and Aptamil Muesli products - recalled due to choking hazard

5 years ago source food.gov.uk

United Kingdom

The FSA announced the recall of Cow & Gate and Aptamil Muesli products by Nutricia because some packs have been found to contain pieces of apple stalks. The presence of the apple stalks presents a choking hazard to babies making these products unsafe to eat. This is an update to the recall of the same products on 15/01/2021 as two of the products were rereleased in error.

FSA advises consumers not to feed them to your baby. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought, with or without a receipt, for a full refund.

- Cow & Gate My First Muesli 10+ months (330 gr). Best before: 20 December 2021 and 04 January 2022
- Aptamil Oats, Raisin & Apple Bircher Muesli 10+ months (275 gr). Best before: 16 January 2022

Alternatively, contact the Cow & Gate careline number on 0800 977 8880 or Aptamil careline number on 0800 996 1000 or www.cgbabyclub.co.uk/our-careline or www.aptaclub.co.uk/contact-aptaclub
