July 9th, 2025:
Alpine Foods Distributing Inc. has initiated a recall of Crown Point Shelled Edamame due to undeclared soy. The product was distributed in Idaho, California, Oregon, and Washington in the United States.
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Crown Point Shelled Edamame
- Packaged in 22-pound cartons with a poly liner.
- It bears the UPC 813973 01840 4
- Includes lot numbers
Lot TH3126AF-PO318534
Lot YF24106, TH3193AF-PO323955
Lot YF24289, and TH3215AF-PO327107
Lot YF25036.
- A total of 1,046 cases are affected.
The recall, initiated voluntarily by the firm on June 13, 2025, is ongoing. The issue was discovered through internal review, and the recall has not yet been classified.
