Several brands of desiccated coconut are being recalled due to the potential presence of plastic pieces. The affected products were distributed in various retail locations in Ireland. The recall affects products originating from Indonesia.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
- PT Royal Coconut Desiccated Coconut
- Gem Desiccated Coconut
- Dunnes Stores Baking At Home Desiccated Coconut
- The Pantry Desiccated Coconut
- Sysco Classic Desiccated Coconut

The issue was identified during routine quality checks. The recall was initiated on October 16, 2025, and is classified as a Category 1 alert. Recall notices will be displayed at points of sale.
