Eagle Spice and Extract Co., Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of its Eagle Spice Ground Ginger 16 oz. product due to elevated levels of lead. The product was distributed in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania in the United States.

The recalled product is:
- Branded as Eagle Spice Ground Ginger
- Packaged in 16 oz. containers.
- It is identified by lot number 24907EGGG
- Has a best-used-by date of 01/27/2028.
- A total of 2,476 units are affected by this recall.

The issue was discovered through routine testing, leading to a Class II recall classification. The recall was initiated on October 7, 2025, and classified on November 4, 2025. The recall is currently ongoing.
