Eccolo Food Services Inc. has issued a recall for certain pistachios due to potential Salmonella contamination. The affected products were distributed to hotels, restaurants, and institutions in Ontario, Canada.AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Pistachios
- Sold without a specific brand name
- Sold in variable sizes
- Were available from June 17 to July 25, 2025.
The recall, classified as Class 2, was initiated on October 2, 2025, following an investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency published the recall notice on October 9, 2025.
