Foran Healthcare has issued a recall for its Glycerin & Aniseed Soothing Syrup due to the potential presence of an undeclared allergen, peppermint oil. The product was distributed in Ireland. Peppermint oil is not normally used in this product and therefore is not declared in the list of ingredients and may have unknown adverse effects.

The product recalled is the Foran Healthcare Glycerine & Aniseed Soothing Syrup, with a pack size of 50g. The batch code for the recalled product is PB2400411, and it has a best before date of 01/2026. Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.
