FDA announced the recall of Protein snack tray and protein trail mix products from Fresh Location because they might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall originated after their supplier, Almark Foods, recalled several lots of Hard-Boiled Eggs products because they might be contaminated with Listeria. To date, there have been no illnesses linked to this recall.Consumers are advised to return these to the place of purchase for a full refund. The recalled products were distributed to convenience stores, micro-markets, hospitals, hotels and vending machines in IL, MO, TN, GA, SC, NC, KY, VA, IN, and MS.
