FreshLife brand Chopped Peanuts recalled due to Foreign Matter

Scalzo Food Industries is recalling a batch of FreshLife brand Chopped Peanuts due to potential contamination with small metal pieces. The product was distributed to Woolworths, FreshChoice, and Supervalue stores across New Zealand. The product has not been re-exported.

The recall involves:
- FreshLife brand Chopped Peanuts
- Sold in 100g plastic bags
- With a best-before date of 21 May 2026.
- The peanuts, imported from Brazil, are identified by their packaging and are not part of any other FreshLife product recall.

The issue was identified on 3 October 2025, and the recall is classified as a precautionary measure.
