Fruiterie Milano has issued a recall for pistachios due to potential Salmonella contamination. The affected product was sold exclusively at Fruiterie Milano, located on Boulevard Saint-Laurent in Montreal, between June 18 and July 8, 2025.

The recall is a precautionary measure following a national outbreak linked to contaminated pistachios imported from Iran.

The recall was initiated in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) and the City of Montreal's Food Inspection Division. It is classified as a Class I recall.
