Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd is recalling specific batches of its Gilmours brand Peanuts Chopped due to potential contamination with small metal pieces. The product was distributed in Gilmours and Trents Wholesale stores across New Zealand and was imported from Brazil.

The recall involves:
- Gilmours brand Peanuts Chopped
- Sold in 3kg plastic bags.
- Affected batches are marked NZ039567 and NZ040191
- With best-before dates of 24/04/2026 and 05/06/2026.
- The product has not been re-exported

The issue was identified during routine quality checks. The recall was initiated on October 3, 2025.
