Goodfood Onions - recalled due to Salmonella

The CFIA announced the recall of Goodfood brand Onions, Product of Mexico by Goodfood Market due to possible Salmonella contamination. There have been no reported illnesses in Canada associated with the consumption of these products.The recalled products are:
- Goodfood Medium Yellow Onions, 908 g (2 lb), UPC: 9000799, code: 3680626, Product of Mexico
- Goodfood Medium Yellow Onions, 908 g (2 lb), UPC: 9000799, code: 3682656, Product is labelled as Product of USA, although the onions are Product of Mexico
These products were distributed in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Possibly Nationwide in Canada.
If you have the recalled products in your home, please do not eat them, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
