####Update August 13th, 2025:The recall has been expanded to include an additional lot of Habibi brand Pistachio Kernel (Lot: 344.24IR41, best-before January 2027). Distribution now also includes British Columbia in addition to Ontario and Quebec.
This update is classified as a Class II recall under CFIA ID 16688 (RA-77901).

Green Farm Pistachio Inc. has recalled its Habibi brand Pistachio Kernel due to potential Salmonella contamination. The recalled product was distributed in Ontario and Quebec in Canada and is intended for hotels, restaurants, and institutions.
The affected product is:
- Habibi brand Pistachio Kernel
- Sold in 10 kg packages
- With UPC 70847446000626
- Lot number 361.24IR41.
- The best-before date is January 2027.
