FDA announced the recall of HEB and Little Bear fresh kale by Safeway Fresh Foods LLC due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. These products were distributed in Texas.The recalled products are:
- HEB Kale Greens, Net Wt. 32oz. Expiration Date 10/11/23 and 10/12/23. Product Quantity: 420 cases
- HEB Kale Greens, Net Wt. 16 oz. Expiration Date 10/11/23 and 10/12/2. Product Quantity: 528 cases
- Little Bear Fresh Kale, Net Wt. 16oz. Expiration Date 10/11/23 and 10/12/23. Product Quantity: 191 cases
This recall was initiated on 10/17/2023 and its status is ongoing. Do not consume, sell, or distribute the recalled products.
