Houston Pecan Company has voluntarily recalled its Pecan products due to a potential undeclared allergen risk (tree nuts, peanuts and wheat). These products were distributed in Texas and online.The affected products are Medium Pecan Pieces 5 pound bag; Mammoth Pecan Halves 5 pound bag; Jr. Mammoth Pecan Halves 5 pound bag. All 5 pound bags of product purchased prior to 5/25/23. The exact product quantity under recall remains unknown.
The recall was instigated after it came to light that the products may contain undeclared tree nuts, peanuts, and wheat due to allergen cross-contamination.
This recall was initiated on 6/1/2023 and its status is ongoing. Do not consume, use, sell, serve, or distribute the recalled products.
