Joly's LLC has issued a recall for its 80% Vinegar due to a violation of Federal Hazardous Substances Act labeling requirements. The product, which poses risks of poisoning and chemical burns, was sold online at Amazon website in the United States from May 2025 to November 2025.HAZARD:
The recalled vinegar product does not comply with the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) labeling requirements. It is missing mandatory hazard warnings and first-aid instructions. As a result, there is a potentially fatal risk if the product is ingested, as well as a significant danger of chemical burns to the skin or eyes if it is mishandled.
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Joly's 80% Vinegar (32 oz, pack of two)
- The product features a white-capped transparent bottle with an orange and red label.
- Approximately 450 units are included in the recall.
The issue was identified due to the lack of required warning labels and first-aid instructions. The recall was initiated on February 19, 2026.
