Krishna Spices N Food is recalling its Masoor Daal because it may contain foreign matter (tablet (containing mercury)). This product was sold at Krishna Spices N Food, 95 Main Street, Upper Hutt, Wellington. There have been no reports of associated illness.

The recalled product is:
- Masoor Daal (500g and 1kg plastic bags), BEST BEFORE 8/2025

Affected products should not be consumed. High levels of mercury are harmful to the nervous system, immune system and kidneys, and can interfere with reproduction and development.
