Recall notice

L'Artisan Cheese sold in Coles and IGA - recalled due to E.coli contamination

4 years ago source foodstandards.gov.au

Australia

The Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) agency announced the recall of L'Artisan Organic Marcel by Mortlake Organic Dairy due to microbial (E.coli) contamination, which can cause illness if consumed.

The product has been available for sale at independent food retailers including IGA in VIC & QLD, independent food retailers in SA, and select Coles Local stores in VIC.

- L'Artisan Organic Marcel (180g). Best Before 08MAR2022

Consumers should not eat these products. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms such as watery diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting; stomach cramps; and mild fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
