2 years ago source lidl.com.mt

Malta

Lidl has issued a recall for its Freshona frozen blueberries due to the detection of Norovirus I. The product, sold in Malta, may pose a risk of gastroenteritis if consumed raw.

The recalled product is the Freshona brand's "Mirtilli giganti americani" or American blueberries, sold in 500g packages. The product carries the batch number LP3144DL7 and a UPC of 4056489658122. The best before date on the affected products is May 2025.

The presence of Norovirus I was discovered following an official analysis of the product. The producer, Greenyard Frozen Poland, has requested that customers return the product to any Lidl store for a full refund.
